The John P Stevens for Animal Welfare Club –JPawS, was started in September, 2006 to bring awareness to the community about animal issues, provide opportunities for the students to learn about animal welfare and support local, national and international animal welfare organizations. The members of JPawS hold monthly general meetings, volunteer at a local animal shelter and organize fundraising events to raise money for homeless animals.
